Yes, there are more new maps on my website. You can check out a few of them:
Western Arihod
Central Zazima
Amakal
Mta Chrifitn Forest
Jkarab Sea
Nayan

Also, if you have Google Earth, you may view Sorol by loading the recently-updated Sorol KML.

Thanks a bunch!

Beautiful as always, but loading your KML begins to work, but then crashes before I can get to play around in it. Seems to occur at some point after the 'generic world map' is finished loading.

Thanks all,
Can't figure out why the KML isn't working for you. I have had no problems with it - on multiple computers. It does take a while to download all the imagery however.

A (really bad) world map can be found here.

These were made using Fractal Terrains, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop. A full tutorial is here.

Thanks ky. I've used a combination of Fractal Terrains, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop. There is a full tutorial here that you can check out if you want to know more.

These, and all other, Wikispace links on this thread, are gone now. I don’t know how to recover them, nor even if it’s possible.

That's what happens when folks trust to third party commercial enterprises online. They tend to disappear. I think this is why it's important for folks into worldbuilding and language invention to invest in the LCS. One of their goals is to maintain conlang & invented world content indefinitely. For as long as the organisation itself exists, anyway!

I think I found the Jkarab Sea here:

http://www.cartographersguild.net/misc.php?do=showattachments&t=2473

Could be the same Rob is / was active at Cartographers Guild as well.

How did you get the website you’ve posted your Regal Portraits on?

Through the Language Creation Society!

As a benefit of membership, they offer free web hosting for invented culture and language related material. What's more, if you ever decide not to renew membership or die or something worse, they won't remove your website.

Since the LCS is community driven, I find that it's a much safer way to archive this kind of stuff online for the (relatively) long term. As we can see from this (and other) threads, online forums and archives can disappear without a trace. Remember Imzy?
